Speaking Tiger announces the launch of TALKING CUB

New Delhi

On Children’s Day, Speaking Tiger announced the launch of TALKING CUB—a brand new imprint dedicated to books for children, younger readers and young adults.
Talking Cub will bring together the works of some of India’s finest children’s writers. Ruskin Bond, Jerry Pinto, Paro Anand, Ranjit Lal, Bulbul Sharma, Shabnam Minwalla, Andaleeb Wajid, Kavitha Mandana, Vinayak Varma, Moti Nandy and Arunava Sinha are among those whose books will appear in this imprint.
Talking Cub books will be fiction, non-fiction and anthologies. There will be novels, classics, books of popular history and science, short-story collections, books of poetry, ‘chapter books’, folktales and stories from world and Indian mythology, as well as thoughtful and innovative books for young adults.
Talking Cub launches in December with two original fiction titles—Prankenstein: The Book of Crazy Mischief, edited by Ruskin Bond and Jerry Pinto, and The Little Ninja Sparrows by Ranjit Lal—and a series of classics for young readers chosen and introduced by Ruskin Bond.
The cub is out, prowling for good, fun and fresh words and pictures. Expect to be entertained!
